The first edition of the Festival jeunes Ballets took place in Geneva from Tuesday, May 10 to Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices and the Dance Area dance school.

For this^1st edition, the festival brought together five European junior companies. The festival included two evenings of shows, each featuring three or four junior companies. Workshops and masterclasses were also held over three days for dancers from the junior companies.

Students from the region’s dance schools were also able to benefit from the teachings of renowned teachers and company directors through classes organized especially for them.

Over 2000 spectators from Geneva and beyond were able to take part in this first festival in honor of young dancers, thanks in no small part to the support of our corporate and individual sponsors. We would like to express our deepest gratitude.
